This set of six striking dining chairs by Victor Coutray, made in France in the 1940s, exemplifies his signature post-Art Deco rustic modernism. Each chair is crafted from solid warm dark oak with an elegantly shaped frame and woven seats. The design, with its bold, graphically carved motifs in the backrest and and gently tapered carved legs, gives the chairs a sculptural appearance and Art Deco look.
These chairs offer a perfect balance of style and comfort, making them an ideal addition to your dining room. Whether you're hosting a dinner party or enjoying a casual meal with family, these chairs will elevate your space and create an atmosphere of elegance and comfort. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
