This is an incredibly unique piece of art by local Georgia artist known as R.A. Miller. This is very fragile. Some of the original parts have been misplaced. The nature of his art means that most pieces have severe degradation.
R.A. Miller lived most of his life in Rabbittown, GA, just north of Gainesville. On his land, he erected whirligigs and made metal cutout and painted figures. He gained widespread fame in 1984 after the band REM filmed “Left of Reckoning” (dir. James Herbert) among Miller’s whirligigs."
