Rita who is 92 years old worked in many mediums including sculpture , printing , constructions in wood and other materials and painting , none of her works are signed she believed that art was for the public and if signed she would claim ownership for her self which was controversial at the time . This piece has paintings of different bugs crawling on top of shadows of people . plants , sticks and branches with metal wire attached to one side having sculpted bugs attached to it . The meaning to the piece could be human's attempt to keep natural at bay , just my thoughts . See less
