Derived from Embrace No. 1 (2023), a watercolor painting by Fanyu Lin created with the intimacy of finger painting, this silk scarf carries forward the original work’s organic gestures and tactile softness.

Inspired by Egon Schiele’s iconic The Embrace (1917), Lin’s interpretation pays homage to the essential human need for closeness and the beauty found in vulnerability. Her approach is more abstract and gentle, allowing each person's emotions to fill the spaces left by the artist’s touch.
