A magnificent pair of antique candlesticks from the Federal period, circa 1800-1820. Genuine Federal, rare and remarkable pieces of American history. Set adorned with majestic columns nestled on a pyramid base, also known as a beehive base.
Crafted of bell metal in a rich, golden-bronze tone with patina on the exterior and underside of the candlesticks. The patina denotes the age of the piece and signifies the historical time period.
Displayed proudly in my Grandmother's estate in Saddle River, NJ for several decades. They rested on an antique Chippendale chest of drawers.
