It retains its original float … Read more This late Victorian pine dresser if full of beauty, painted black with undertones of red. It retains its original float glass and has a hidden drawer (handle-less) between the top and bottom cupboards. This is common for furniture made in Scotland around that time, however we were unable to evidence this piece was made in Scotland.
The dresser comes in three sections, the bottom cupboard and drawer, the top glass fronted cupboard and then the cornice. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
