Derived from Painted Prayer II (2025), an original ink scroll painting by Fanyu Lin, this silk scarf depicts a rhythmic procession of abstracted female figures rendered in expressive black ink. Each form dissolves into the next, echoing both the fluidity of calligraphy and the poetic force of ritual. Inspired by the act of prayer as embodied movement, the composition flows like a visual chant, meditative, intimate, and deeply felt. The artwork evokes a shared vulnerability and resilience, portraying a continuum of presence, emotion, and connection across bodies and time.
