Antique Japanese Imari porcelain lidded vase, c.1920
A small scale but good quality Imari vase with original lid. The body has a fluted ribbed shape which is echoed by the lid. Hand painted decoration on all sides with trees, flowers in a garden setting and also a geometric design. Vivid blues and reds throughout and high lifted with gold accents. Good antique condition with some surface age wear. One small old repair to the lid bottom rim as seen in the pics.
