IThe base was custom designed by JL George & Sons from Hong Kong for the former home owner. The marble , I believe , may be Arabescato or Paonazzo from Italy which was popular in the 1950-1970's especially for bathrooms and floors. Since this marble is in our bathrooms this was probably a tabletop made from an extra marble slab .

There has always been a crack going down the center and it is underneath the table as well. Please see pics.
I recently had the table top refinished so the marble has a nice little shine to it.

The base is beautiful and made of wood with a faux bamboo design, has wear, but doesn't have a finish on the yellow paint so can easily be changed.

Its hard to find a table base so I am pricing this item mainly for the base since the top has damage to it.. The marble top s not bolted to the base it just rests on it.
