Pair of Paolo Buffa Armchairs, Italy, 1950s
A striking pair of 1950s Italian armchairs attributed to Paolo Buffa, showcasing his characteristic blend of architectural clarity and comfort. The chairs feature tall, sculpted backs and generous armrests, with subtly flared silhouettes and elegant proportions.
Recently reupholstered in ‘Sagone’ by Zinc—a textured, mid-tone weave that enhances the chairs' clean lines while complementing their mid-century Italian aesthetic. Raised on tapered hardwood legs, the pair reflects Buffa’s refined modernism and enduring attention to detail.
A timeless addition to any interior, balancing sculptural form with relaxed elegance
