Amazing set of club chairs in rattan and cane with matching side table by Davis Allen for McGuire. Table has 1" thick original removable glass top. Chairs have original red Naugahyde removable cushions. (Cushions have a musty smell from being stored for any years(according to the original owners). Cushions can be replaced by buyer very easily if you know of a good upholsterer.
Glass has some minor scratching from age and use but in very good condition overall with no chips and can be used as is.
There is some age appropriate wear to cane and rattan, see pics. In very good condition overall , sturdy and solid. Original webbing is present and appears to be working fine but can also be replaced by the buyer for a fresh look.
Table measurements: Glass is 33" x 27 , table is 28 x 22 and is 27.5"H

Iowa native Davis Allen (1916-1999) worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill for over 40 years, and designed furniture for Stow Davis, Steelcase, Bernhardt, Stendig, GF, Hickory Furniture, and McGuire.
