1970s Danish Modern lounge chairs by Domino Møbler. Designed with comfort and sculptural simplicity in mind, each chair features a solid teak frame with softly curved lines and rich grain. The original upholstery could stand to be replaced with an amazing mohair or chenille. In dry environments, or when the humidity drops too quickly, the wood loses moisture and shrinks. When the outer layers shrink faster than the inner core, it can cause the wood to split. There is one of these splits on the back rail (pictured) that does not affect the structural integrity. the last photo shows a small repair to the back of the other chair. Lounge-worthy comfort with a low-profile seat, plush armrests, and gently reclined back create a cocoon-like feel that invites you to settle in and stay awhile.
