Lovely sinuous legs with bronze ormolu mounts, a scalloped burl wood skirt, exquisite inlaid floral and book matched burl marquetry top and a self storing folding leaf extension. The top slides open to reveal a butterfly leaf which unfolds to lengthen the table to approximately 91 inches. Only the top slides, the table base/legs do not move. Very smooth sliding mechanism. Thick sturdy deeply scalloped skirt and foliate ormolu mounts. Nothing is missing. Superb quality throughout and in very good condition.

PLEASE NOTE: There are a some scuffs/scrapes and wear to the all original finish. I found only a couple of small chips with veneer loss on the skirt. These are very small, but mentioned for accuracy. Also, the leaf extension is less faded than the rest of the table top as would be expected. However the overall fading to the table top is minimal and even. Please enlarge and examine photos. This is a very beautiful solid sturdy table, but might not be for the absolute perfectionist.

MEASUREMENTS: 69.5 inches long without the leaf extension, 44 inches wide and 30 inches tall. The leaf adds another 21.375 inches in length. See less
