This copy is boldly inscribed (in French) in ink on the title page by the artist! This 173-page book, bound in white cloth and accompanied by an illustrated dust jacket, offers an in-depth exploration of Guiramand's work, with numerous black-and-white and full page color reproductions. It also includes a catalog raisonne of the artist's lithographs and engravings.

Guiramand was a midcentury School of Paris artist who painted in an abstract expressionist style. He was awarded the Prix de Rome in 1953.

A tight near fine copy in cloth boards in a very good dust jacket. Tight, square binding. Hinges solid. NO names, inscriptions, underlining, notes, hilighting or bookplate. The dust jacket, now protected by a removeable Brodart mylar cover, is lightly sunned on the back panel. Pages bright and clean. See less
