The zodiac characters are in Asian style.

Made in Korea, as close up image indicates, the engraved Country of Provenance, on the backside of plate, with green felt protective bumpers in place, from previous owner, prior to when we obtained this piec.

THERE ARE 2 AVAILABLE

No pitting whatsoever., but we left the patina on the backside to indicate how, when brass ages due to air and elements will patina as brass does and will look, versus a wee-little bit of polish to the front, we did, to showcase that polishing the brass will glisten and enliven the piece as well, BUT will also will patina, much like the backside. THE center of Plate looks like copper, BUT it is MY REFLECTION UPON photographing the plate, we apologize. LAST IMAGE is what the PLATE looked like prior to polishing the front a wee bit, and how it will patina. See less
