A striking 18th century Italian Sorrento center table, featuring an exquisitely inlaid top crafted from various wood species. The circular surface is richly decorated with a geometric starburst motif, radiating from the center in concentric bands of fine marquetry, a hallmark of traditional Sorrento craftsmanship.
The artistry of the inlay is complemented by the warmth and movement of the wood, enhanced by a well-preserved patina. The top rests on a turned central pedestal that flows into three gracefully curving legs, providing both stability and sculptural elegance.
