defining Opaline, a type of semi opaque opal glass made in white, as well as pastel shades and is often enameled. it is similar in appearance to English Bristol Glass. Though are enameled or gilt decorative which in this case the bottle shaped French vases are gilt decorated tend to exhibit a French influence.
