This semi-antique Persian Melayer runner, measuring 3'1" x 13', is handwoven in Iran's Hamadan region and has been expertly distressed and refinished in the U.S. Persian rugs are deeply rooted in Iran’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, with weaving traditions dating back to the Bronze Age. The oldest surviving examples originate from the 16th-century Safavid dynasty, reflecting centuries of craftsmanship and history.
