Italian tole metalwork from the 1960s, is primarily made of painted metal, specifically tinplate and iron metal. These pieces were frequently used for decorative items and lighting fixtures, like chandeliers and sconces, and were often adorned with floral motifs and gilding.

This set is of unknown origin and era, is embossed maker on stembacks (Mallin), resembles the 1960s era of Italian Tole metalwork. Painted enamel finish in a off white cream color and adorned with soft pastels of peachy pink, soft red, spring green, cornflower blue and golden rod yellow. In vintage preowned condition, with worn edges of rubbed paint and aged patina. May need some cleaning if desired. Recommended use for wall art, these candle sconces can be used to flank a hallway mirror, side of a doorway or fireplace mantle. Works well in modern spaces where a hint of the old world will complement a space with dimensional wall art.
