A netsuke style coiled auspicious snake resting on a platform with a symbolic long life peach, very intricately hand carved in China. Made from a nut that resembles ivory in texture and colour. Attention to detail throughout the entire piece - signed by the artist on the underside of the peach. Bought in Hong Kong in 1980's. Great gift for those born in the year of the snake. Listed by East2West Furniture.
Year of the snake: 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013, and 2025.
