Measuring 20” tall, 7” wide, and 4.5” deep, it is celebrated as one of Africa’s most exquisite dolls. Meticulously carved from solid hardwood, Namji girls traditionally name, nurture, and carry these dolls on their backs as part of their preparation for motherhood.
