The lids had/have rubber stopper rims to help them stay taut and close tightly, but they should be replaced. The canisters were all purchased separately and the glass appears similar in shape and sizes, but the lids are all subtly different - see detailed images. While they may have been designed for food storage, we think they would look smashing as apothecary canisters in a bathroom to hold cotton balls or hair accessories.
