Hand-painted cut-out of John Barrymore from a circa-1930 movie exhibition display. Beautifully rendered with moody shading that brings depth and expression to his face. The reverse side features an intriguing mix of textures and colors—leaving us to wonder what might have once been displayed there.
Measures 22.5" x .5" x 35.5"
Interestingly, his open shirt displays what came to be called "the Barrymore collar."
