A stunning 19th Century religious altar panel/banner with a purple velvet background full of embroidered details and colorful beads.
This ecclesiastical textile is made out of velvet fabric and metallic/gold thread. In the middle you will find the symbol IHS with a sunburst in the back which is made of gold colored thread and sequins.
Lovely Fleur-de-lis embroidered all over and decorated with colorful beads.
A true piece of art and so well made, out of amazing quality and quite long in size!
It is in good antique condition, the fabric in the back has marks and also some metal parts and nails. Please see pictures carefully.
