Beautiful, imposing vitrified majolica jug, entirely hand-modeled on a lathe, glazed and hand-decorated with gouges, and finally finished with a gold metallic luster. Made by the IMA factory in Montelupo Fiorentino, "Maldive" series, numbered under the base with an incised catalog number, it dates to the second half of the 20th century, 1900.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
