An acrylic on board painting by the American artist Vern Rader (1924-2017). This abstract work has layers of purple, pink, blue, and white. Signed verso, the painting is displayed in a silver tone wooden frame.
Vern Rader was born in North Carolina and served in the army during World War II later moving to Cincinnati to study art where he learned from industrial designed Russel Wright. After school he work for Proctor & Gamble as manager of art and packaging.
