Stool. Chromed steel base. Yellow lacquered seat. Footrest in steam-treated beech, natural color.
In 1970, Zanotta launched the "elastic metal seat," metaphorically called "Mezzadro," which brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni designed in 1957 (along with the Sella chair, in production since 1983) for the exhibition "Forms and Colors in Today's Homes" held at Villa Olmo in Como.
Mezzadro is a strong and clear message of freedom to define the domestic space. This piece has an attribution mark,
