This work by Fulvio Bianconi is based on the most innovative glassmaking technique of the 1900s: thin rectangular strips of glass are overlapped and then applied by hand to a conical blown glass base. Shades of iridescent hues and Bordeaux meet nuances of iridescent sand and red in a timeless piece dating back to 1998.
