Oil washes on wooden panel in the form of watercolor studies, which, though quick and cursory, convey a full sense of the light and air of the space, a Luminist sense of the scene. Terrific color and great composition of the scene. Signed to the lower left corner. No date, but roughly a 1890-1910 painting.
The measurements are 15" by 15" for the panel, and the frame is 20" by 20". See less
