RAREST OF THE RARE HUGE ED RUSCHA POSTER FROM THE MARK TAPER FORUM, LOS ANGELES 1975
Imagine this framed on your largest wall ! Incredible!
What you have here is one of a kind or perhaps the only one left in existence. Perhaps they made two or three but probably not more. This was created for the big giant glass cases in front of the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, California for the 1975 to 1976 Season. Designed by the world famous Ed Ruscha
Colors on this screened poster are still vibrant as it’s been stored in a tube all of its life.
Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman were a renowned American writing and directing duo, most famous for their collaborations on Broadway. They wrote several successful plays together, including "You Can't Take It with You," which won the Pulitzer Prize, and "The Man Who Came to Dinner." Their work often satirized various aspects of American society and culture.
purchased this from a vintage Poster collector 15 years ago and I’ve always held onto it.
very well described and photographed, there are some little tears on the edges, which would be covered up if you had it framed. There’s also a very tiny hole just above the dark sunglasses, which I’ve also included in the pictures. This area could be backed with paper in the framing. No one would know, but you and I.
I’ve scoured the Internet and I’ve never seen another one of these. I have seen a much smaller one listed for $15,000 on another site. but that price was for the very small 24 x 30 and this one is much much more rare and much much larger. So you can be the only person that has one of these most likely. And designed by pop artist ED RUSCHA
Will be shipped or delivered in a hard cardboard shipping tube.

There are some tears and crimped edges but once framed would not be noticeable. There is one little hole near the sunglasses that can disappear by a clever framer. less
