Top. This is the last one I was able to find in France. In the 1990s I was always able to find a number of hat stands but not today. This is exactly was it was found. Charmingly it shows it's age and the fact that at one time it was painted with a silver paint. It is tall enough for a large picture-frame hat (or next year's Derby Hat).structurally it is in excellent condition. I try not to do anything to finish letting the new owner leave it alone if they appreciates the vintage look or it can be restored to the shiny new finish of decades ago. It's up to you, the buyer.
