This stunning pair of Chinoiserie celadon vases was presumably converted into lamps sometime between the 1920s and 1940s, featuring highly detailed brass/bronze caps and bases. The celadon vases themselves may be much older, as they are exceptionally heavy and beautiful; however, the lamps have not been disassembled to check for any markings on the vases. Each lamp holds two bulbs and includes a very tall adjustable stem, topped with a brass figural finial representing a Chinese God.
The lamps are quite large; the vases measure 18 inches high, and the lamps stand 26 inches tall to the bulbs and 42 inches to the top of the finials. Each has a base width and depth of 6.5 inches. Please note the photo with a standard champagne bottle for size reference. Each lamp weighs 16 pounds, and they are being sold as a set of two. The lamps have been lightly cleaned but not polished. While the brass/bronze caps and bases could likely be restored to a high shine, I leave that decision to the buyer.

These lamps are in gorgeous condition with age-related patina and wear. They have been cleaned but not polished. While the brass caps and bases could likely be restored to a high shine, I leave that decision up to the buyer. Please note that light bulbs are not included. The age of the vases is undetermined, as they have not been disassembled to search for markings. They were probably converted into lamps sometime between the 1920s and 1940s, but the vases could potentially be much older.
