The sculpture is attributed to the artist Otto Petri and bears his signature on the upper part of the white base, incised into the ceramic body (see photo). Under the base is the manufacturer's mark and the serial number, 4920. The sculptural quality of the animal is so high, in my opinion, that it almost seems real.
