The original finish was cherry, it has all dovetail joinery and it has been lightly distressed by the refinisher. It has antique gold finished hardware and all of the drawers are clean and slide easily. The back is stamped (see photo) but there is not a maker's mark in the drawers. It is heavy and stable.
