The cabinets have cleated handles (although not matching) an interior shelf and ventilation to the back. Originally created during World War II, These would have been used as medical bedside tables in hospitals.
Both units have been historically overpainted in grey and show signs of general wear as pictured, but this just adds to there appearance and vintage past times.
Measurements are for each unit. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
