A 2003 glass fusion dichroic glass wall hanging by Malaysian-American artist Syed Ahmad. An amalgamation of red, orange, blue, purple, and black glass create a dynamic square composition against a silver tone metal background. Signed and dated verso, the work is framed in a black frame.
Syed Ahmad received his BS from University of Texas in 1986. Ahmad worked as a geophysicist and opened an arts and crafts business with his wife, a textile artist. As a hobby, Ahmad began making glass beads for jewelry before becoming a full-time artist.
