A wonderful vase in very hard ceramic or majolica, modeled and decorated entirely by hand, glazed and treated with acid, and finally decorated with a caricature-style portrait of a woman, signed under the base by the Pisapia Cava dei Tirreni factory. Note the unique shape of the vase, which is entirely hand-modeled, and the beauty of the central portrait. It is immediately apparent that this is a vase of high artistic value, completely handmade, a unique piece, a small work of art. The dimensions are good, considering that the vase is 34 cm tall and the quality of the ceramic with which it was made is high, thick and heavy, considering that the vase weighs over 2.5 kg.

Useful information for evaluating the item:
During our internet research, we found, some time ago, a lamp from the same manufacturer on sale for $399. The original asking price was $500, but it must have been sold because it is no longer on the Internet. Meanwhile, another vase, also made of Pisapia Cava dei Tirreni ceramic, is listed on the Internet for €730. This gives an idea of the value of the artistic ceramics produced by this manufacturer.

Information about the artist and/or manufacturer:
The Pisapia Cava dei Tirreni manufacturer is one of the best known in Salerno, both nationally and internationally, along with Amalfi and, most importantly, Vietri, which is the main source of inspiration for this manufacturer.
