Early 19th Century New England Wrought Iron, Wire And Brass Fireplace Andirons, Tools And Fender
A set of elegantly designed early 19th Century New England fire tools, which includes: (1) a wrought iron and decorative wire screen with brass trim, finials and bun feet; (2) a pair of brass steeple top andirons; and (3) a set of brass and iron fire tools on a stand.
This was sourced from the collection of Dr. Andrew and Ziva Dahl, avid travelers and collectors, who, over decades, accumulated an impressive collection from reputable dealers and top auction houses, including Sotheby’s, which is where the fire screen was acquired.
