Set of four walnut dining chairs by Norman Cherner. Originally designed by Cherner for Plycraft in the 1950s, these particular chairs are manufactured in 2007 by the Cherner Chair Company of Westport, Connecticut, the sole licensor of Norman Cherner designs. The set consists of two armchairs and two side chairs. The chairs elegantly combine a unique molded plywood shell of tapering thickness and a laminated wood base, with the armchair adding a solid bentwood arm. The chairs have black Sabrina leather seats and pads. A truly iconic mid-century design, in excellent condition. Each chair is labeled on the underside. Price is for the set.
