In this beautiful oil-on-cradled-canvas piece, Jack explores color and texture in a heavy impasto style inspired by the Impressionist masters. His verdant landscapes are loved for their animated strokes and lively use of color, inspired by his years in the decorative arts.
Jack’s Bio:
Jack is one of the founders of VSF, a florist in NYC, who has designed dramatic arrangements for A-list New Yorkers and world-class events for over three decades. Using inventive and exotic combinations from global sources, his floral designs range from diminutive bouquets for photo shoots to monumental arrays of branches and flowers in colossal vases for fashion shows and prestigious venues.
I know Jack from my years at Ralph Lauren Home, where he produced arrangements that dramatically changed the mood of many spaces, from runway fashion shows to product showrooms to personalized gifts on desktops. I have enjoyed giving and receiving many of his fantastic creations and am proud to show his artwork in my Chairish shop.
