Henning Kjærnulf began his design career working with renowned Danish furniture makers such as Bruno Hansen, Poul Hundevad, and Vejen Møbelfabrik. Strongly influenced by American modernism, his work emphasizes simplicity, functionality, and the beauty of natural materials like wood and leather. Kjærnulf’s creations—known for their clean lines and craftsmanship—remain highly prized by collectors and Danish design enthusiasts today.
This charming set consists of six Model 26 dining chairs designed by Henning Kjærnulf for Korup Stolefabrik, crafted in Denmark during the 1960s. Made of rich rosewood, the chairs feature their original skai leather upholstery and display light, age-appropriate signs of wear on the wooden frames. Each chair retains its original brand plate underneath.
