There is a light behind each door on … Read more Nice cherry Blockfront secretary desk with double dome top bookcase on top. There is a light behind each door on the upper section. The doors have beveled glass panels in them. The 2 adjustable glass shelves have a plate rail cut into them. The slant front opens to reveal an interior with 2 small drawers on either side of the prospect door with cubby holes on each side. The lower drawers show dovetail construction. Surprisingly there is no makers label or stamp on it anywhere. Piece is in 2 sections as shown and should you choose to you can use the desk without the bookcase. Piece is in nice condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. There are some light scratches on the top of the desk where the bookcase sits. Desk is 34" wide and stands 83 1/4" tall. It is 18 1/2" deep. The bookcase section is 9" deep wear the shelves are. The writing height is 30". See less
