This is not a reproduction. It is in terrific shape, with no apparent loss to the gilding. It measures 34 1/2" tall by 21". The frame is finished in gold leaf with a characteristic warm, lustrous appearance.

It is a fine example of decorative craftsmanship featuring an ornate carved wood mirror with gilded detailing. The frame features a carved floral and foliate design on the crest. The carving work demonstrates skilled artisanship typical of the era, with deeply sculpted leaves, flowers, and scrollwork that creates rich dimensional texture. The mirror was replaced decades ago, based on the old backing that I removed. The glass is in lovely condition with no issues.

This is a lovely choice as a powder room mirror, as well as an entry or wall mirror.
