Useful information for item valuation:
from our online research, we also found that the top four highest prices achieved by Goldscheider range from €11,000 to €23,000 (with auction fees, the asking price exceeds €29,000), all for large Orientalist terracotta sculptures. For Art Deco sculptures in soft glazed porcelain, prices range from a minimum of €1,000-1,200 to a maximum of €6,000-7,000. Finally, for Goldscheider animal sculptures, prices range from €200-300 for the smallest and simplest pieces to over €3,000 for the largest. Furthermore, from our online research, we find that Karin Jarl Sakellarios boasts several auction results, the four highest of which are: a ceramic horse that fetched €1,400, a peacock €1,300, a vase sold for €1,200, and a bronze sculpture sold for €3,000, plus a 25-30% buyer's premium. All of this provides an idea of the value of ceramics produced by the Goldscheider factory in general and those created by Karin Jarl Sakellarios specifically.
