An engraver, painter, and illustrator, he was born in ancona in 1921 and trained first at the academy of fine arts in bologna, before graduating from the faculty of architecture in florence. In 1966, with vittorio and stefano zironi, he founded and directed the museo storico della tappezzeria and the museo del comune di senigallia. After years of teaching, he devoted himself passionately to painting, graphic design, and art history: silkscreens of bologna and the travels of the madonna di san luca are his main subjects. He has received over three hundred national and international awards and prizes, and his works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions. The abstract or semi-abstract composition, with its use of vivid colors and bold brushstrokes, suggests an artistic exploration typical of the post-war period, making it a significant piece for collectors and lovers of 20th-century art. The work is framed in a simple frame that enhances its contents, allowing the viewer to focus on the artist's visual language. The date and signature add value and authenticity to the piece, testifying to its origin and provenance. A professional restoration has preserved its beauty. Ideal for enriching a modern or contemporary space with a touch of vintage art, this painting is an opportunity for lovers of modern art to own an original work, capable of adding personality and a stylish focal point to their home or office.
