Important Pyrography Panel – Medieval Hunting Scene
France, Art Nouveau – Circa 1900
An exceptional pyrography artwork on wood, delicately enhanced with painted details, depicting an elegant medieval hunting scene.
A noble lady rides through a forest, accompanied by young gentlemen, falcons, and hunting dogs.
The composition evokes the romanticized splendor of the Middle Ages, rendered in a refined style at the crossroads of Art Nouveau and Gothic troubadour inspiration.
This large-format panel stands out for its rich narrative and exquisite execution, in a spirit reminiscent of the illustrations of Ivan Bilibin.
Every detail showcases remarkable craftsmanship, both in the pyrographic technique and the application of color.
A rare piece—both decorative and historical—in very fine condition, ideal for a discerning collector or a sophisticated interior.
