Vase … Read more This exquisite Art Nouveau vase by Émile Gallé in Nancy is statement pieces in the room. Signed E. Gallé. Vase with red currant decoration in frosted glass internally suffused with beige/yellow at the base and bright crimson red/cameo overlay and red foot, signed "Galle," circa 1904-1918, height: 11,6" ( 29,5 cm), width: 2,8 "(7 cm). In its style, the set is French Art Nouveau. Émile Gallé was a French glass maker and furniture designer based in his hometown. His favorite motif, which he used a lot in his work, was the plant. There were also many insect motifs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
