Napoleon iii period 19th century. Dimensions: vase h 11,8" (30 cm); d 5,9" (15 cm) in very good condition, with very light signs of wear baccarat in 1764, in eastern france, a group of daring craftsmen set out to transform the four elements of nature – earth, air, fire and water – into glass of absolute quality. In 1816, they perfected their well-kept secret formula to obtain a crystal of unparalleled purity. In 1855, for the first world fair in paris, baccarat unveiled its unique original, soulful craftsmanship to the world. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
