Luxury at its finest, made by the World renowned French maker of ‘Daum’ of Nancy, France circa 1960-80. This item crystallizes the extraordinary know-how of the Daum craftsmen. Daum France brown colored dragon on crystal sphere with variations of honey, purple, molasses and gold colors. The dragon sits on a clear crystal ball. Limited edition, Fully signed on base. Daum Daum is a crystal factory in Nancy (France) founded in 1878 by Jean Daum (1825-1885). Daum is one of the only crystal manufacturers to employ the ‘pâte de verre’ (glass paste) process for art glass and crystal sculptures This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
