Soft, rounded lines for this soliflore dating from the beginning of the 20th century.
Made by Eugène Lion (and signed), famous ceramic potter linked to the Carriès School of sculptor, this 31 cm high vase is enameled in creamy gray tones with some ocher touches.
Eugène Lion undoubtedly represents one of the key creators of the Grès de Puisaye. Very active until the eve of the Second World War, he left behind an artistic and technical heritage of high quality.
This rare and aesthetic piece will easily find its place in all types of decor.
The enameling work is superb. Please note that the base has a small hole pierced to pass an electrical cable (if converted into a light fixture). This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
